If you do not have access to a private cloud or on-premises environment for deploying the Classic Gateway, and instead want to deploy it in a public cloud or monitor public cloud resources, OpsRamp provides flexible options to support your deployment.
OpsRamp supports Classic Gateway deployment across three major public cloud platforms:

  1. Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  2. Microsoft Azure
  3. Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Deployment Options by Cloud Provider

  • AWS: OpsRamp offers an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) for AWS. You can quickly launch a pre-configured Classic Gateway instance in your AWS environment using this AMI for a seamless setup.
  • Azure: For Microsoft Azure, OpsRamp provides a Template Spec, allowing you to deploy the Classic Gateway using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates. OpsRamp supplies a VHD pre-bundled with the Gateway, and the ARM template uses this VHD for deployment, simplifying infrastructure management with IaC.
  • GCP: On Google Cloud Platform, OpsRamp supplies a Google Image that you can use to instantiate the Classic Gateway on virtual machines. OpsRamp provides a tar.gz disk pre-bundled with the Gateway for streamlined deployment in GCP.

Whether you lack private cloud infrastructure or prefer the flexibility of public cloud environments, OpsRamp enables you to deploy the Classic Gateway efficiently on AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring robust monitoring and management without compromising performance or security.
